I had the unique opportunity to visit the inside of a telephone central office building and receive a tour. It was very interesting to see the technology that makes our telephones and internet function. There was equipment ranging from the decades old DMS-100 telephone switch to modern fiber optic. The building is a time capsule of telephone history dating back decades.
