Last night I visited Lisa &amp; Ken Whyte at their farm where they had been saving some appliances for me.\u00a0 I finally got to bring them home!\n<p>This first one was actually my parent\u2019s washing machine they had in the 90s. They gave it away in 2003. I\u2019ll have to repair the agitator as it was parted out for the other washing machine (below). Although it won\u2019t be anytime soon (it\u2019s stored in a house I own that currently has no utilities working) It will be fun to put this thing into use again. I remember falling asleep to the sound of it washing when I was very little. It is a Kenmore 80 series. It is a Kenmore 70 series. The date code translated to December 1987. No electricity so I can\u2019t plug it in now, but it worked last time it was plugged in.
