Apex High School Intercom Phone System Instructions

While playing around with the phones back in High School, I learned a few things about
the school's intercom system.

-Current as of June 2012-

To call another classroom phone: Dial star (*) followed by the 3-digit room number.

To call an individual classroom intercom speaker: dial the 3-digit room number without the star.

Front office is "100"
Media Center is "806"

For trailer phones:

Room number must be 3 digits, so you must add leading zeros to the beginning.
Example: Trailer 1 would be "001" and trailer13 would be "013"

For modular POD buildings:

A 020
B 021
C 022
D 023
E 024
F 025
G 026
H 020
I 030
J 031
K 032
L 033
M 034
N 035
O 036
P 037
Q 040
R 041
S 042
T 043
U 044
V 045
W 046
X 047
Y 048
Z 049

To dial outside the school, dial 98, listen for tone, dial 9, listen for tone, dial local number.
This only works for local calls and toll-free calls. Long distance and operator are
disabled. I tried. Even the dial-around codes don't work.

The intercom phones can not receive incoming calls from outside the school.
They will show a number on the caller ID, but the system will not allow the call
to go through if you try to call it back.

When visiting the school after graduation, a teacher did confirm that their
is an extension that will go to the whole school intercom speaker, however
they would not tell me what it is. But if you can find it, you've got a lot of
possibilities for fun times....
