Adirondack Spring Water
Clinton, Essex, & Franklin Counties, New York

Disclaimer: These springs are all natural. The water is untested and untreated. Drink at your own risk.
I have personally visited all these springs and drank the water with no ill effects, but again, it's natural untreated water.

Location Picture Directions & Notes
Gougeville Spring Road
Cadyville, New York

Clinton County

Driving away from Plattsburgh on State Route 3 coming from the hamlet of Cadyville, Gougeville Spring Road will be on your left just shortly after the speed limit changes to 55 MPH. Take the first entrance (the road is U shaped). The Spring will be on your right just a little ways down.
State Route 374
Dannemora, New York

Clinton County

Driving on State Route 374 going away from Plattsburgh, drive through the village of Dannemora and drive up the mountain. The spring is on the left in a parking area. There is a sign a mile before advising of the parking area. Look for a concrete base with a pipe coming out of it. If you reach the 2nd parking area with no spring, turn around and go back a mile. This spring has really good tasting water from deep in the mountain.
Standish Road
Lyon Mountain, New York

Clinton County

Driving on State Route 374, driving west away from Chazy Lake, turn left on Standish Road just as you come into the hamlet of Lyon Mountain (there is a gas station at the intersection). Drive a few miles and the spring will be on your left. Two pipes coming out of the mountain. It's easy to drive past this spring so pay attention and slow down if you can.
True Brook Road
Saranac, New York

Clinton County

Drive on State Route 3, coming away from Saranac and towards Redford, turn right on True Brook Road. The spring is just a little ways down on the right. A long black pipe comes down the hill and drains into an antique bathtub. Look for the old tub, and you'll find the spring.
Wallace Hill Road
West Plattsburgh, New York

Clinton County

Drive east on Wallace Hill Road until you see the pipes and pink flamingos on the right side of the road. This spring is on private property. Please take extra care to keep it clean. The property owner is being kind and making this water available to the public.
